Double Planetary Mixers includes two blades that rotate on their own axes while they run around the mixing vessel on a common shaft. The blades continue to advance along the perimeter of the container, removing material from the container wall and transporting it to the interior. After one rotation, the blade has passed through the entire container, after three rotations, most of the material has been mixed, and after only 36 rotations, the blade actually touches the entire batch.
Double Planetary Mixers move materials by rotating two identical blades on their own axes while running on a common shaft. The blade continues continuously along the perimeter of the mixing vessel, removing material from the wall and transporting it to the interior.
Double Planetary Mixers are ideal for mixing and kneading viscous pastes or putty-like materials. Capacity ranges from 1/2 pint to 400 gallons. Various options including vacuum/pressure, thermal jacketing and hygienic design
